About the Role
QUEST Alliance has been working with the secondary schools across 9 states in India implementing the IBM STEM For Girls programme. The programme focussed on developing 21st century skills and STEM Mindset among the adolescent girls and support them in carving a journey to continue education beyond secondary grades but also to take up a career in STEM field.
Roles and Responsibilities
Timely delivery of tasks while exhibiting hands on knowledge of job
Curriculum Development
Support in piloting the curriculum across field locations
Facilitation of sessions on coding during the ongoing capacity building activities.
Support the team on developing session plans on AI tools for teachers
Capacity building
Conduct capacity building training to teachers and team members on ideathon and hackathon which is under computational thinking thematics
Share feedback and co design workshops on AI for teachers and team members
State Ideathon Hackathons
Participation in design and delivery of team and state level and interstate level hackathons
Ensure ideathon and hackathon implementation across projects in Karnataka with set targets met for each project of the state with quality prototypes.
Handhold and train state team members for ideathon hackathon sessions
Anchor interstate hackathon and mentor selected students from Karnataka
Ensure quality prototypes as output of Karnataka hackathons
Relationship Management - Stakeholders
Support in maintaining relationships with vendors / consultants for maintenance, troubleshooting etc.
Visit schools to support program associates and consultants onground with computational thinking curriculum implementation
Be part of the planning process for the team to ensure an effective plan and budget is in place and it is adhered to.
Reporting
Document and share the best practices in the schools for publication in quarterly newsletters, social media and other channels.
Provide regular written and verbal reports tracking progress against the work plan and implementation schedules
Use the appropriate ME tools for reporting on a regular basis
Ensure all the program report including case studies, photographs, best practices reaches the ME focal point at the stipulated time
Support with the documentation of training/ meeting/ event reports
Support coordination of baseline/ endline and other assessments
Collect data as needed to help with the compilation of the donor report
Ensure data is updated in the database
Support all reporting requirements such as quarter reviews, annual reviews
Participate in team meetings, reviews and staff engagement activities
Be available for regular line management meeting and the appraisal processes
Prefered skills and Experience:
Loves technology, any sort of direct work on ed tech projects
Have previous experience of working on tech related work

Ability to network and build relationship with the Government and Non government organisations
Proficient in MS Office tools and Internet
