We are looking for an experienced person who has worked in the area of education technology, curriculum development and educator capacity building with a focus on government school systems. The role of the Learning Experience Manager is going to be critical in anchoring and strengthening the overall curriculum development process, internal educational technology thought process especially on Artificial Intelligence and Career, and the overall internal and external capacity building.
Role Description
Curriculum Development, Capacity Building and Implementation support
Anchor the Future Skills (Artificial Intelligence and Career) curriculum design and delivery with quality and the regions capacity building for all its stakeholders, ensuring all deliverables are met.
Understand existing content, research, customize, create, curate based on the needs of the State and its stakeholders.
Take responsibility for effective curriculum creation, curation, and capacity building for Internal team, Educators, School Heads and Govt officials.
Put in place a curriculum outline and flesh out the session plans for each year, as per the overall State direction and plan.
Co-create the curriculum along with Educators and Learners by designing the overall learning environment and experience along with the internal team.
Anchor discussions with internal and external teams (consultants) and follow the processes to onboard consultants/agencies in content development and/or training, as needed.
Identify and design the learning journey of Educators, School Heads, Students and the Quest internal implementation team : the key stakeholders.
Put together capacity building design and plans for all key stakeholders and facilitate the capacity building as a Master Trainer.
Provide coordination support for curriculum design, content curation, capacity building and facilitation by working closely with the central Learning Experience Team.
Ensure that there is a plan for implementation of the content and regular catch-up and monitoring to see its effectiveness to feedback into closing gaps/loops.
Be present in and anchor curriculum review meetings with the State departments like the SCERT and SSA as per the State plan.
Drive experimentation and innovation strategies in the domain of learning experience including content, curriculum and capacity building for the State.
Work closely with the State lead and the State program coordination team to develop a roadmap for content and capacity building requirements.
Work closely on new content projects and learning experience journeys as they emerge within the Schools program ecosystem based on the State s requirements.
Relationship Management - Stakeholders (Internal and External)
Collaborate with the M&E team to ensure the data capturing framework is in line with the overall curriculum framework and capacity building design.
Collaborate with the research team to create frameworks to understand learner and educator personas.
Collaborate with the State education department for periodic review and course correction of the curriculum.
Create and maintain a Community of Practice of the right Educator personas to build a movement and uptake around the Future Skills curriculum in the State in the long term.
Collaborate with the communications team to prepare and disseminate content on specific content related themes.
Ensure relevant Case stories, testimonials and more are documented in an easy and accessible manner so they can be shared with the Communications team, donors as part of the reporting process, and in other internal as well as external communication channels and forums as needed.
Build capacities of internal team members to introduce the curriculum to all the key stakeholders, demonstrate content related activities in schools.
Build capacities of team members to ensure implementation of activities, templates and frameworks created for key stakeholders capacity building.
Collaborate strongly with the State coordination team to ensure excellent teamwork and quality of output and deliverables as per the State plan year on year.
Reporting
Be available for regular line management meeting and the appraisal processes
Work with the monitoring and evaluation focal persons to develop monitoring and reporting systems aligned with Strategic Framework and donor requirement
Work together with M&E or data focal point to track program Progress based on the Monitoring and Evaluation framework.
Ensure all the relevant data for your program is available on time for reporting to different internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure the monitoring tools are understood by the team and are used for reporting in coordination with the State M&E PoC.
Submit all the relevant monitoring reports on time. Ensure all the relevant data for the project is available well in time.
Ensure the program process is documented and enough case studies are in place to show the impact or progress of the program.
Ensure the data is analyzed and fed into the planning and review meeting.
Anchor the Level 3 reviews at a State level along with the State coordination team, ensuring the decks and the reviews happen in a smooth, timely and productive manner.
Requirements
Required skills and Experience:
Minimum 9-10 years of work experience, in implementing school transformation approaches in the government school context.
Hands-on experience of working with artificial intelligence (AI) and coding/ computational skills/ STEM is non-negotiable.
Added experience of working with Life/Career skills, Gender and other allied thematics is a plus.
Prior experience in curriculum development, implementation design, working with State education departments and educator capacity building
Willingness to learn and influence prevalent practices in education ecosystem
Relevant education qualifications for handling pedagogy, STEM, gender and life skills content
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English with a preference for Telugu speakers (at least a working fluency of the language would be desirable)
Excellent IT skills
Willingness to travel extensively
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members
