About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Architect to join our team.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions leveraging the AWS platform.
Your expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and IAM, will be instrumental in delivering robust and scalable solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
AWS Workspace Core Architecture :
- Design and implement secure and scalable AWS Workspace Core environments.
- Deep understanding of VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) concepts and best practices.
- Experience with AWS Workspace Core components such as image management, application streaming, and user experience optimization.
AWS Cloud Solutions Architecture :
- Design, architect, and implement cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions leveraging AWS services.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud-based applications.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and optimization for cloud deployments.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
Cloud Migration Strategy :
- Develop and execute cloud migration strategies for on-premises applications and infrastructure.
- Assess and migrate workloads to AWS utilizing appropriate migration tools and techniques.
Automation and DevOps :
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Implement DevOps best practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Security and Compliance :
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards (e.g, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Implement security measures such as IAM roles, security groups, and encryption to protect sensitive data.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Stay abreast of the latest AWS security updates and best practices.
Technical Documentation :
- Document all aspects of cloud architecture and infrastructure.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, deployment guides, and runbooks.
Client Communication :
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5+ years of experience as an AWS Architect or in a similar cloud engineering role.
- Proven experience with AWS Workspace Core and VDI technologies.
- Strong understanding of AWS core services, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, and Lambda.
- Experience with AWS networking, security, and compliance best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g, Python, Bash).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
Desired Skills :
- AWS Certifications (e.g, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (e.g, CloudWatch, ELK stack)
- Experience with Agile methodologies
