Hogarth - Quality Assurance Automation Lead - Playwright Testing (10-15 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead daily QA standups and key project meetings to ensure alignment on project goals, testing priorities, and status updates.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and set clear quality expectations.

- Define and implement automation strategies to maximize test coverage for critical system features and functions.

- Oversee the creation and maintenance of automated tests using Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript, ensuring all test plans and cases meet quality standards.

- Manage comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports in Jira.

- Generate quality assurance reports and effectively communicate test results and insights to stakeholders.

- Conduct root cause analysis for issues, lead efforts in identifying and addressing quality risks, and continuously refine the QA process.

- Mentor and guide QA team members, providing support and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Coordinate and conduct regular regression testing and sign-off processes to ensure release readiness and system stability.

Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in web automation testing, with a strong focus on automation strategy and QA leadership.

- Strong background in Quality Control and Assurance with proven experience in Quality Management and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

- Proficiency in quality auditing processes and experience documenting test strategies, approaches, and test reports.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Sciences).

- Certifications in Quality Management or related areas are a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex enterprise system requirements.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical results and insights to various stakeholders.

Technical Requirements :

- Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript for test automation.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.

- Experience with different functional and non-functional testing types (e.g., system, integration, E2E, UAT, regression, security, OAT).

- Proven track record of building and maintaining test automation for diverse product types.

- Experience with developing scripts and tooling for Non-Functional Testing.

- Familiarity with GitHub or other Git source control tools.

- Experience in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).

- Ability to review automated test code and provide feedback.

- Experience with API testing, SQL, and relational databases.

- Experience using AI services and working with microservices is a plus.
