Assistant Manager - Finance

Resposibilities:

• Manage financial accounts, compliance, and legal documentation.
• Oversee payments, account checks, and audit compliance.
• Handle business accounting, fund management, and MIS reports.
• Implement systems to improve financial operations. Collaborate with banks and financial institutions for process optimization.
• Verify invoicing, purchases, and transactions. Ensure compliance with accounting standards. Supervise receivables and student fee reconciliation. Manage statutory compliance (TDS, GST, PF, etc.) and audits.
• Assist in legal contract drafting and review. Handle statutory filings and tax compliance. Generate sales invoices and purchase orders via ERP systems.
• Resolve payment gateway issues. Create MIS reports and financial data insights.
• Support sales and support teams in enrollment processes.
• Negotiate and finalize vendor agreements.
• Ensure compliance with legal and taxation standards, especially in e-learning. Identify improvements for financial and compliance processes.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of taxation, compliance regulations, and financial reporting.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing legal agreements such as NDAs, MSAs, and vendor contracts.
• Strong negotiation and contract finalization skills.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, including QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of international payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, or similar platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office tools for financial modeling and reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to resolve payment gateway issues and manage student fee systems.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of direct and indirect taxation.
• Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and external stakeholders.

Educational Qualification:

• UG- B.Com - Commerce
• PG- MBA/PGDM Finance, Inter-CA, M.Com
• Additional certifications in Finance, Accounts, and Compliance will be plus.

Experience: 1 -3 years in relevant industry
