Assistant Manager - Finance

Resposibilities: Independently manage financial accounts, compliance processes, and legal documentation. Oversee daily payment processing, account scrutiny, and ensure compliance with audit requirements. Handle business accounting, including payables, fund management, and preparation of MIS reports. Develop and implement computerized systems to enhance efficiency in financial operations. Collaborate with Banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions to explore opportunities for process optimization. Conduct document verification for invoicing, purchases, cash, bank transactions, and accounting. Ensure financial records comply with accepted accounting standards and principles. Supervise receivables reconciliation, resolve discrepancies, and oversee student fee reconciliation processes. Manage statutory compliance related to TDS, GST, PF, PT, etc., and address statutory and internal audit. Assist in drafting and reviewing legal contracts, including vendor agreements, service agreements, NDAs, and MSAs. Handle documentation for statutory filings, tax compliance, and ROC requirements. Generate B2B and B2C sales invoices, purchase orders, and receipts through ERP systems like QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar platforms. Address and resolve payment gateway issues and monitor financial documentation related to debtors and creditors. Create and maintain MIS reports, financial data analytics, and fee receivable insights. Work closely with sales and support teams for pre-enrollment and post-enrollment processes, ensuring compliance adherence. Provide inputs on legal drafts and collaborate with stakeholders for contract development. Negotiate terms and finalize agreements with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and minimize risk. Review and refine legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. Maintain strong compliance practices aligned with taxation laws and industry standards, particularly in the e-learning domain. Identify and implement best practices to improve financial processes, compliance monitoring, and documentation. Skills Required: Knowledge of taxation, compliance regulations, and financial reporting. Experience in drafting and reviewing legal agreements such as NDAs, MSAs, and vendor contracts. Strong negotiation and contract finalization skills. Hands-on experience with ERP systems, including QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar tools. Working knowledge of international payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, or similar platforms. Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office tools for financial modeling and reporting. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to resolve payment gateway issues and manage student fee systems. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Basic understanding of direct and indirect taxation. Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and external stakeholders.
