Senior Penetration Tester

Qualysec Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in identifying vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and simulating cyberattacks to strengthen our organization?s security posture. You will collaborate with teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations to mitigate potential threats.

Bachelor?s Degree /Experience in relevant field
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive penetration testing of web applications, networks, mobile applications, APIs, IOT, and cloud environments.
Identify, document, and report security vulnerabilities using industry-standard tools and techniques.
Analyze vulnerabilities in the context of business impact and provide actionable mitigation strategies.
Deliver detailed penetration testing reports with technical findings and high-level executive summaries.
Maintain documentation of testing methodologies, tools, and results for compliance and knowledge sharing.
Mentor junior penetration testers and provide training on tools and methodologies.
Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and penetration testing techniques.
Contribute to the development of custom tools/scripts to enhance testing efficiency
Skills Required
Proficiency with penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Kali Linux).
Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Deep understanding of network protocols, web technologies, and secure coding practices.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
Knowledge of threat modeling, social engineering, and physical penetration testing.
Experience with advanced exploitation techniques and red teaming engagements.
