Job Description :

Roles and Responsibilities :

Database Design and Development :

- Design and develop efficient database structures to support application requirements.

- Develop stored procedures, triggers, and functions in PostgreSQL to enhance database performance.

Query Optimization :

- Write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries to ensure minimal resource consumption and maximum performance.

- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in database systems.

Data Management :

- Manage data through DML, DDL, and DCL commands, ensuring integrity, security, and availability.

- Monitor and maintain database backups, recoveries, and replication processes.

Tool Utilization :

- Effectively use tools like pgAdmin and DBeaver for database development, debugging, and management.

- Automate repetitive database tasks to enhance productivity.

System Integration :

- Collaborate with developers and system architects to integrate databases with other system components.

- Ensure compatibility and smooth data flow between databases and external applications.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database schemas, procedures, and design changes.

- Generate reports and dashboards as per business needs.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management, to meet project goals.

- Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.

- Educational Background : BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent degree.

- Experience : 2-5 years of relevant experience in database programming and development.
