Senior Test Engineer

Position: Data Quality Testing Engineer or Data Engineer Role Summary: Manage projects focused on Data Quality Management and Testing for banking clients, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and testing velocity Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project / test outcomes. Measure and track each activity and highlight in case of misalignment or project off-track Technical Skills: RDBMS Proficiency: Expertise in relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle). Ability to write complex SQL queries and handle data migrations use cases. Azure DevOps or Project Management tools: Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, project tracking, and version control (Git). Knowledge of working in sprints, user stories, and release cycles. Data Quality Tools: Familiarity with data quality and governance tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar platforms. Understanding of data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques. Migration testing techniques and best practices. ETL Processes: Knowledge of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, data modelling and ensuring clean data pipelines for analytical reporting. Banking IT Systems (preferred): Exposure to core banking systems, payment gateways, or loan origination software. Data Governance: Understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and master data management (MDM). Automation Testing: Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Apache JMeter) for performance testing, API testing, and script driven data validation. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in data quality management and testing roles, preferably within banking or financial institutions. Ability to design testing plan and handling multiple stakeholders within the project timeline. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to speak
