Quality Kiosk Technologies is looking for L3 Storage Engineer for Datacenter storage monitoring for largest domestic private bank.

Must to have experience: 8+yrs of exp

Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems

Dell, Hitachi, IBM, Netapp SFP Replacements , Alert Monitoring, SLA & KPI Fulfilment ,Problem Management to optimize current alerts

Tools: Stor2rrd, Sannav, Service Now,

Responsibilities:

• Monitors, escalates, and remediates NAS (Network Attached Storage) and SAN (Storage Area Network) device/application alerts to identify potential incidents.
• Level three support for SAN, and NAS storage Monitoring Team.
• Participate in Audits.
• Asses and signoff monitoring scope
• Present progress reports, discuss open issues, new initiative in Weekly/Monthly governance calls and meetings with Client Management.
• Identify areas for process and service efficiency/improvement in monitoring project
• Recommend & prioritized process enhancements and oversee implementation
• Act as QA (Checker) for reports and dashboards
• Alert Optimization of Storage & Switches.
• Coordinate Team Hiring and skill development by oversee project relevant trainings, certification and career development.
• Problem Management of Storage & Switches.
• Performs change management and 24*7 incident management support for storage systems.
• Experience of working in a 24*7 environment
• Incident Bridge Handling.
• Participates in major incidents and conducts Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Effective communication with other infrastructure groups (Network, Server, Database, and Application Development teams).
• Understanding of project engagement processes and Conditions of Satisfaction deliverables.
