Quality Engineer - Powder Coating Plant

Location: Bhiwandi (12 KM from Kalyan Station)

Role & Responsibilities

1. Ensure the powder Coating fabrication meets the specifications.

2. Verification & maintaining bath parameters on daily basis.

3. Experience in dealing with Spray Equipment's

4. Undertake QC coating activities in the work place for daily basis.

5.Supervisor non-conformances reports.

6. Maintaining all measuring instrument calibration record

7. To undertake test qualification for spray painters, brush painters & abrasive blaster

8. Co- ordinate with the paint manufacture technical representative any anomalies or irregularities in the specifications

9. Analyse the root cause and recommends preventive action if any deficiency Pipeline field joint coatings.

10. Heat resistant paint coatings for flares

11. Preparation and maintain Quality control records related painting.

12. Performs adhesion testing. Performs penetration testing.

13. Evaluates impact testing.

14.Review all areas in scope of work with paint contractor prior to prep and paint application

15. Assure caulking where necessary has been completed satisfactorily

16. Verify that all surfaces are in suitable conditions for painting Report all surface defects to management team at the prep stage, intermediate coat and final finish.

Preferred candidate profile

1. 2 to 6 years of Experience in Powder Coating Plant. Out which 2 years in Quality Control inspection of powder coated products

2. Good Communication Skills and training skills to train people on quality.

3. Urgent joiners would be preferred

4. Diploma in Mech Engineering/Science Graduate/Professional qualification in Surface Treatment of metals.
