Quality Engineer

Qualification

• 3-5 Years of overall IT experience with minimum of 3 years of experience in application or product validation with agile processes supporting various testing types such as functional, UI, Regression, API and Performance.
  • Graduate in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or other streams with analytical and software engineering knowledge
  • Certification in automation with Selenium, Cucumber will be required

Job Description

• Automation Testing:
  • Design automation framework, Tool identification
  • Able to develop test scripts for Web, Angular -(Cypress ,Karate API,Selenium)
  • Test execution of automation scripts and pipeline integration
  • Knowledge in running scripts from Cloud environment
  • Experience in Test management Tools (JIRA)
  • API testing
  • Knowledge on Performance testing
  • Knowledge on RPA
• Manual Testing
  • Work experience in Agile environment
  • Understand Test requirements and prepare test objectives and detailed test cases
  • Execute Test cases and prepare reports
  • Review defects and participate in defect discussion meetings
  • Prepare and circulate Test execution summary report on daily and weekly basis for each milestone
  • Design functional and system test cases
  • Identifies and resolves review defects until closure

• Partner with product team Developers, business analyst, Scrum master, Lead developer, architects and other teams to build basic test estimation, test design and execution strategy with functional knowledge
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing test delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, quality, etc.
• Liase with a team of QA specialists to understand in-house best practices and frameworks and get collaborative support to resolve technical challenges.
• Problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills with ability to make sound complex decisions in a fast-paced, technical environment

• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.

Skills/Tools/Techniques

• Hands on proficiency with Agile product life cycle and process: JIRA tool
• Experience in cloud Platform: Google cloud, AWS
• Experience in CI/CD using Jenkins/Gitlab
