Sr Engineer- Android Test

General Summary:

The charter of the Android Test team is to ensure that the end-product qualifies Google requirements The team is looking for a candidate who has strong understating of Android framework, test methodologies, troubleshooting/analyzing failures and running Continuous Integration, Kernel, and other functional & compliance test cases. The position involves understanding of SOC Architecture, triaging test failures and routing to the right tech area. Good Experience with test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging Candidate would also require contributing to the test automation

Minimum Qualifications:

2 to 5 years of industry experience. Experience with coding languages: C, C++, Java or Python Excellent triage and system level debugging skills. Good analytical problem solving sound reasoning skills/ Excellent communication skills. The candidate is expected to be self-driven to quickly get up to speed on various aspects of android testing & flexible to take-up tasks as per the project needs

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

1+ year of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree inElectronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
