Job Description
Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering
General Summary:
Job function:
Development of various features in the Security related tools and framework. Should be able to work independently on the features and work assigned.
Skills/experience:
Hands on Experience with Python.
Experience with Linux programming and commands usage
Ability to understand and statically review C, C++ code.
Ability to evaluate open source tools for Static Analysis and vulnerability detection mechanisms
Experience with SQL/Stored Procedures on one of the following databases (Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Oracle)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
Develop/Maintain the Automation framework for SA (Static Analysis) which works in conjunction of Build Infra, Continuous integration, and other tools.
Work with different tech teams and integration teams in setting up healthy Static Analysis scans.
Help investigate, evaluate, select, and integrate best available framework/tool solutions as required by the organization for their SA needs.
Work to continuously improve automation concepts and best practices, automation strategies, and design specifications
Weekly follow up with Vendor for any issues, enhancements, and for future requirements of different tech teams for SA needs.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education requirements:Bachelors degree and above; graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
