Platform Test Engineer Senior (IoP)

Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Test Engineering

General Summary:

Candidates should bring a good understanding of operating systems and multimedia technologies. They should also have experience in Systems validation and implementation for real-time embedded systems on ARM/ x86 Architecture.

Be part of System validation and developing on USB/ PMIC / DisplayPort technology.

Good understanding on DisplayPort /HDMI/ VGA/ DVI /Thunderbolt 3/4 [TBT3 / TBT4]/ USB/ USB4/ PMIC/ USB/ Different PORTS [Audio end points 3.5, Type-C], etc.

Strong knowledge of C & Data structure language / C++ Programing language and scripting language - Python / Pearl.

Support product teams for commercialization, through system validation and benchmarking.

Enhance existing infrastructure for validation.

Should be able to optimize & effectively manage time

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

1+ year of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).

Required qualifications:

Good understanding of Multimedia test environments using software and hardware tools.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

2+ Years of working experience on C & Data structure language and the scripting language Python / Pearl.

Develop automation systems for executing test cases and Parsing results.

Must have White box testing experience on System level along with coding experience.

Versioning Tool Knowledge of GitHub / Perforce.

Excellent communication , team working / soft skills and collaborate with different region people.

Physical presence in Qualcomm Bangalore office is expected [ No Work from Home options]
