General Summary:
Provide and support Corporate Audio-Visual Standard Solutions to enable Qualcomms business units to communicate successfully. Align AV solution standards and practices, in order to ensure that systems perform at the highest level of consistency providing an optimum audio visual experience for our customers/clients. Duties include budgeting, scheduling, and working with AV integrators to meet or exceed our customers AV requirements.
Troubleshoots and debugs issues with networks, systems, and/or applications by completing complex root cause analyses and escalates issues both internally and externally as needed. Monitors overall availability and performance of systems/applications and ensures customers have necessary access. Creativity is needed to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines.
Communicates efficiently, clearly, and accurately, in an open, respectful, and inclusive manner. Communicates with project lead to provide status and information about impending obstacles and suggests remediation. Participates in and offers solutions during cross-functional meetings with team supervisors and leads.
Acts as a technical resource for less knowledgeable personnel. Provides feedback in a constructive manner.
Executive level customer service skills with the innate sense of urgency, diplomacy and effective verbal communication skills is essential. Must be self-sufficient with excellent time management skills, and be able to provide detailed explanations on reported issues as well as be responsive to local office and IT management. Expert in root cause analysis troubleshooting/triage, support and end-users training on Microsoft Teams Room and associated audio-visual systems. Commercial AV installer experience preferred, ability to pull, test and terminate AV cabling Crestron/Extron/MTR graphical interface experience supporting both hardware/software Proficient networking experience. Network AV device configuration Ability to use electronic test equipment: audio/video signal test generators, laser levels, SPL meters and RTA equipment. Experience with Autocad and Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus. Support locally managed PA Systems events, Live streaming events, Marketing events: Strategic marketing event etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.'This position will encompass entry to mid level audio/visual knowledge and carry the job duties responsible for providing Tier 2 audio/visual support. Including end-user training and general use of AV in QUALCOMMs meeting and event spaces. Manage local and regional AV projects with IT/QREF management and interfaces with architects, general contractors and field trades. Possess entry level knowledge to assist in the productions for our onsite internal events and offsite external video production events.
1.Support Audio/visual design requirements and standards for all existing Qualcomm occupied facilities for both new and legacy buildings
2.Provide Audio/Visual meeting support for executives and provide end user training
3.Provide field support and handle escalation and work on resolution
4. ITAV production support for internal/external events
5. Event AV support to include: Host facility due diligence, rental logistics, live show operations, stage management including Vendors, Invoice Management, Executive AV support, event project management.
