Immediate joiner would be preferred.

The role requires the incumbent to support the Team Lead in ensuring that all touchpoints from invoice receipt to enquiry to post invoice receipt support are addressed timely and to the vendors satisfaction. Associate is responsible for ensuring that suppliers invoices are serviced efficiently from initial submission to payment processing, vendor reconciliation, (any) query resolution.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of Accounts Payables processes and process orientation
• Deep understanding of vendors service needs and regulations.
• Strong communication skills for handling customer inquiries and issues.
• Ensuring Control & Compliance through policy and procedures
• Invoices backed by PO / not backed by PO.
• Process before invoice is posted. (GRN/Approval from the right person, segregation of duties etc.)
• Payment process (checks to ensure no duplicate payment payment to the right account and right person etc.)
• Accrual concept (provision entry during month end)
• PO closure need for the same and logic (repercussions of non closure)
• Vendor recon and reasons for doing the same. How it is done. What could possibly be the recon items.
• Month end activities & reconciliation
