Job Description :

We are seeking a talented Python Developer/Lead to join our team and lead the development of robust and scalable Python-based solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, proficiency in various design patterns and architectures including microservices, and hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

Additionally, the candidate should be adept at deploying applications to the cloud, implementing best practices for production environments, and ensuring high performance and reliability of APIs.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python, adhering to best practices and industry standards.

- Implement different design patterns and architectural styles, including microservices architecture, to build scalable and maintainable systems.

- Choose and utilize appropriate Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI based on project requirements.

- Deploy applications to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

- Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.

- Monitor and optimize API performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and ensuring efficient resource utilization.

- Lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.

- Interface with clients to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure alignment of solutions with business objectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Python development, RESTful APIs, cloud computing, and software engineering best practices.

Technical Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Master's degree preferred.

- Proven experience of 5+ years as a Python developer with expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

- Strong understanding of different design patterns and architectural styles.

- Hands-on experience with one or more Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Proficiency in deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Solid understanding of unit testing principles and experience with testing frameworks like py-test or unit-test.

- Experience with API performance monitoring and optimization techniques.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with clients and stakeholders.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
