Job Description
- Review business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to design detailed, comprehensive test cases.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and business needs.
- Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing on web and mobile applications.
- Execute test cases across various environments (development, staging, production).
- Report bugs, track their status, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
- Solid experience with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Quality Center.
- Proficient in using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Knowledge of test case management and defect tracking systems, and ability to create detailed test reports.
- Familiarity with basic SQL queries for database validation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to document and explain issues to cross-functional teams.
