DevOps Automation Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (6-10 yrs)

Job purpose :

The DevOps Engineer will work with our DevOps and Development teams to streamline our software development process. Will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement automation solutions that improve product efficiency and quality.

Main responsibilities :

- Build and maintain automation tools for testing deployment, and monitoring.

- Develop automation solutions, including software development and system integration.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and fix automation failures and identify opportunities for automation process improvement.

- Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams throughout the development process.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

- Monitor software performance, identifying issues and scaling accordingly.

- Design, develop, and implement automation systems that meet product requirements and quality standards

Knowledge/Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.

- Strong understanding of automation tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps.

- Strong scripting and automation skills including languages such as PowerShell, Python, JAVA, YAML and JSON.

- Experience using Git-Based Version Control tools - such as GitHub and Bitbucket

- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity of cybersecurity and systems development life cycles

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience :

- 6+ year of experience in DevOps automation or related field.

- Strong knowledge of using Git-Based Version Control tools ,such as GitHub and Bitbucket

- Strong understanding of automation tools such as Jenkins

- Experience using JIRA and Confluence.

- Experience with Linux-based operating systems.

- Experience with embedded system compilers (IAR, Tasking), static analysis, unit testing

- Experience integrating Simulink and Labview workflows into automation

- Experience integrating on prem created artifacts with cloud platforms like AWS
