Vibration Analyst (ISO Category III AND IV)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Vibration Analyst with ISO Category III and IV certification and a strong background in software and data analytics to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in diagnosing, analyzing, and mitigating vibration-related issues in pump systems, while leveraging cutting-edge software tools for data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Vibration Analysis & Diagnostics:
• Conduct detailed vibration analysis and root cause diagnostics for pump systems and rotating machinery.
• Implement predictive maintenance strategies based on vibration trends and data analysis.
• Condition Monitoring:
• Deploy and optimize condition monitoring systems for pump performance and reliability.
• Collect, process, and interpret vibration data from IIoT sensors and monitoring devices.
• Software Integration:
• Utilize software tools for vibration analysis, such as SKF @ptitude, CSI AMS, ADRE, or similar platforms.
• Develop customized dashboards and analytics solutions to monitor pump health using iPUMPNET.
• Collaborate with software developers to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities.
• Technical Support & Training:
• Provide technical expertise to field teams for troubleshooting vibration-related issues.
• Train customers and internal teams on vibration analysis techniques and software usage.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare detailed vibration analysis reports with actionable recommendations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of findings, maintenance actions, and software configurations.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications:
• ISO Category III and IV Vibration Analyst certification is mandatory.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in vibration analysis, condition monitoring, or reliability engineering.
• Proven expertise in analyzing complex vibration data for rotating machinery, specifically industrial pumps.
• Software Skills:
• Proficiency in vibration analysis software (SKF @ptitude, CSI AMS, etc.).
• Familiarity with IIoT platforms, predictive analytics, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Python, MATLAB).
  

Key Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in vibration diagnostics.
• Ability to interpret vibration spectra, time waveforms, and other data sets.
• Knowledge of pump operations, failure modes, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills to deliver technical insights to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with iPUMPNET or similar IIoT-based pump monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of thermography, ultrasound, or other complementary condition monitoring techniques.

Understanding of machine learning and AI for predictive maintenance.
