Job Description
Engineer (Operations) on Contract
Job description
- Knowledge of the Indian Power Market including conventional, renewable, and other power sources.
- Knowledge of power trading through various long/medium/short-term contracts.
- Knowledge of various regulations and procedures pertaining to scheduling of power with good knowledge of energy accounting.
- Should work in close coordination with the team to manage the daily power activities of DISCOM.
- Involvement in DAM/GDAM bidding
- Coordination with Power Exchange/Internal/External stakeholders for bidding & commercial related activities.
- Skilled in DAM/GDAM/TAM/GTAM/RTM/ESCERTS/REC/LDC of IEX/PXIL/HPX Products.
- Power scheduling and forecasting.
Preferred candidate profile
Education: BE/B.Tech Electrical is must.
Candidate must have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Power Trade Control Room Operations.
