Qualification: M.S/DNB-SurgeryExperience: 1+ Years of documented experience in 100+ Bedded NABH Accredited Hospitals.
Procedures, including but not limited to appendectomies, hernia repairs, cholecystectomies (gallbladder removal), bowel resections, thyroid surgeries, and more.
Preoperative Evaluation: They assess patients' medical history, conduct physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests to determine the surgical approach and ensure the patient is fit for surgery.
Operative Techniques: They refine their skills in surgical techniques, both open and minimally invasive (laparoscopic), to effectively and safely perform surgeries with minimal complications.
Patient Care: Senior Residents manage patients before, during, and after surgery, providing postoperative care, wound management, pain control, and addressing any complications that may arise.
Consultation: They collaborate with other medical specialists to provide comprehensive patient care, often consulting with specialists such as anesthesiologists, radiologists, and other surgical subspecialists.
Trauma and Emergency Surgery: Senior Residents may be involved in managing patients with acute trauma and emergency surgical conditions, such as abdominal emergencies, traumatic injuries, and more.
Teaching and Supervision: They play a role in teaching and supervising junior residents and medical students in surgical techniques, patient care, and clinical decision-making.
