Job Description: Chief Business Officer- PSN Finance. (Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC))

Position Title: The Chief Business Officer (CBO)
Department: Executive Leadership-Finance
Markets: Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu
Work Location: Bangalore
Reports To: Managing Director

Position Summary:
The Chief Business Officer of PSN Finance Company will provide support to build NBFC’s loan portfolios from ground up. This role requires a deep understanding of the NBFC sector in vehicle loan, regulatory frameworks, and customer-centric financial solutions to drive sustainable growth and profitability. We are looking for professionals with 30+ years of baking experience associated with public service bank at above general manager level.( after 2023 Retired professionals can also be considered)

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:

• Seasoned, senior lending / banking professional from institutions known for financial prudence
• Motivational leader who has served in positions of responsibility, built teams and created goodwill among customers and team
• Ability to work in a startup environment with lean resourcing and make the vision a reality.
• Ability to think through business strategy, provide inputs and implement.
• Ability to comprehend rapidly changing NBFC regulation, decode RBI scrutiny and build a compliant, resilient framework for the NBFC
• Ability to draft detailed SOPs for credit and operational controls, collections and other compliance and ensure mechanism of complete adherence by team.
• Investor friendly and call upon network to raise funding
• Develop and implement loan rule book for the vehicle loan portfolio
• Build vehicle loan application sourcing, loan approval, disbursement, collection, legal and compliance teams

Regulatory and Compliance Oversight:

• Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory guidelines, including those from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) or other relevant authorities.
• Establish and maintain compliance policies, ensuring full alignment with internal and external requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison with regulators, auditors, and other external bodies regarding risk and compliance matters.

Financial Management:

• Monitor and manage the vehicle loan performance, including revenue growth, cost management, and collection.
• Develop and manage budgets in line with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and manage credit risk and augmentation of investment
• Maintain asset quality and ensure healthy financial performance through prudent lending and credit practices.

Fundraising and Investor Relations:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and stakeholders.
• Leverage a professional network to secure funding and strategic partnerships.
• Present the organization’s vision, performance, and potential to investors to attract funding and foster trust.

Business Development and Customer Engagement:

• Drive business growth by identifying opportunities for expansion and innovation in vehicle loan products and services.
• Strengthen customer relationships through consistent delivery of value and service excellence.
• Monitor market trends and position the organization competitively.
