IND-AS Specialist Finance

Role Overview:.

The IND-AS Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (IND-AS) and contribute to the financial reporting process.

This position requires deep technical expertise in IND-AS, along with a strong background in IPO processes and financial recasting.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a Big 4 audit firm and possess a thorough understanding of IND-AS adoption, audit, and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities:.

IND-AS Expertise:.

Ensure compliance with all relevant IND-AS regulations and standards.

Oversee the adoption and implementation of IND-AS in financial reporting processes.

Provide technical guidance on the application and interpretation of IND-AS.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):.

Develop, implement, and monitor the annual budgeting process in alignment with business goals.

Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements.

Collaborate with business units to evaluate financial performance, identify risks, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

Support long-term financial planning, including cash flow management and financial modeling.

Work closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations based on financial analysis.

Financial Reporting:.

Lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IND-AS requirements.

Support the finance team in preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual financial reports.

Ensure all financial records are accurate and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Recasting and Audit:.

Lead the process of financial recasting to meet IND-AS standards.

Collaborate with external auditors (Big 4 firms) for the timely completion of audits.

Ensure proper documentation and financial disclosures as per audit requirements.

Stakeholder Management:.

Work closely with senior finance executives, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure all reporting and compliance needs are met.

Act as a key liaison with external auditors and financial advisors to ensure smooth audits and financial reviews.

Requirements.

Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification with expertise in IND-AS.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on IND-AS compliance, financial reporting, and FP&A.

Experience in a Big 4 audit firm is preferred.

FP&A Skills: Proven background in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of IND-AS, financial recasting, and audit procedures.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of financial reporting and compliance.
