We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Service Engineer to join our Voice Applications team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting clinical voice applications such as nurse call systems, Rauland platforms, and other communication solutions critical to healthcare operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
System Management and Maintenance
Administer and support clinical voice applications, including nurse call systems, Rauland, and other communication platforms.
Perform system upgrades, patching, and configuration changes to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Monitor system performance and address issues proactively to minimize downtime.
Incident Management and Troubleshooting
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to voice applications and their integrations with hospital systems.
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for escalated incidents and ensure timely resolution within agreed SLAs.
Document root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective measures.
Project Support and Deployment
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new voice solutions or enhance existing systems to meet clinical needs.
Coordinate with vendors and IT teams during installation, configuration, and testing phases of new deployments.
Ensure seamless integration of voice applications with other healthcare IT systems.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with clinical teams, IT departments, and external vendors to align solutions with operational and patient care requirements.
Train end-users on system functionalities and provide ongoing technical support as needed.
5. Compliance and Documentation
Maintain detailed documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with healthcare IT regulations and data security standards, including HIPAA or local equivalent.
Assist in developing and implementing policies for system use and data governance.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor s degree in IT, Electronics, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CCNA, ITIL).
Experience: 5+ years of experience in supporting voice applications, nurse call systems, and related technologies.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in managing voice platforms like Rauland, Ascom, or similar solutions.
Strong knowledge of telephony systems, VoIP protocols, and network fundamentals.
Experience with system integrations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Technology: (Knowledge/Skills)
Strong telecom / VoIP background and working experience with vendors, service providers, OEMs is a must.
Working experience with programming, preferably Python, Java, .Net and SQL
Experience in Azure Environment, VMs, databased or similar cloud experience
US Healthcare domain knowledge. Preferred.
Handling Enterprise Voice applications such as 1Call, Nurse call, Vocera etc. or Experience in implementing or supporting Clinical (EHR)/Rev Applications will be add on.
Experience: 5-8Yrs
Experience on Azure, O365, Cloud design, VM s, Database or similar Cloud experience.
Voice technologies, applications, and operational support methodologies
Experience in DevOps, Service Maturity in Resiliency, HA, Site Reliability, CI/ CD, Backups, Monitoring and Performance.
Experience working in Agile/sprints in a global team setup
Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering or similar field
