Role Overview:

The Deputy CEO will be responsible for overseeing key business functions, ensuring operational excellence, and implementing growth strategies to strengthen Proventus Agrocoms market leadership in driving companys success. This role requires a leader with experience in FMCG, strategic execution, and scaling businesses in a highly competitive landscape.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:

- Assist the CEO in shaping the company's long-term vision, strategy, and business roadmap.

- Lead new product development (NPD), category expansion, and innovation in the healthy snacks and dry fruit segment.

- Identify M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, and investment initiatives for business growth.

2. Sales, Marketing & Brand Building:

- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to strengthen the brands presence in retail, e-commerce, and B2B channels.

- Develop customer-centric strategies to improve brand recall, visibility, and engagement.

- Expand reach into modern trade, general trade, institutional sales, and international markets.

- Oversee digital marketing, influencer collaborations, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) initiatives.

3. Technology & Innovation:

- Drive tech-enabled business transformation, including AI-based consumer insights, automation, and digital commerce.

- Implement sustainability initiatives in packaging, sourcing, and production.

4. Risk Management:

- Play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization.

- Ensure that risk management practices adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

5. Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure the operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

6. Stakeholder Relations: Support efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

- 15+ years of leadership experience in FMCG, Food & Beverages, Healthy snacking, or related industries.

- Experience in dry fruits, snacks, packaged foods, or health & wellness products is a strong plus.

- Proven track record of scaling businesses and driving revenue growth.

- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Skills & Expertise:

- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the FMCG market, consumer trends, and retail dynamics.

- Strong background in marketing and sales operations.

- Experience in digital transformation, e-commerce, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategies.

Education: MBA/PGDM from a top-tier business school (Preferred).
