Protos - Cloud DevOps Engineer - Azure/Oracle Cloud Platforms (4-6 yrs)

Position Summary :

As Cloud DevOps Engineer (CDOE) you will demonstrate a solid background with the cloud ecosystem, showcasing expertise in Oracle Cloud, CI/CD, C# .NET Core & Framework, Azure Cloud, React JS, PowerShell, YAML, Git, SQL, MSSQL and extensive proficiency in utilizing Azure and Oracle Cloud services for scalable and efficient application deployment. Exceptional troubleshooting skills are a key attribute we are seeking in this role.

Responsibilities :

1. CI/CD : Use best practices to Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless software development, testing, and deployment processes.

2. Cloud Services (Multi cloud skills) :

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Automation : Leverage scripting languages like PowerShell, cli or python to automate routine tasks, ensuring efficiency in daily operations. Experience with BICEP, Oracle Process automation and terraform.

- Azure & Oracle Cloud : Demonstrate extensive experience with Azure Cloud services, including but not limited to App Services, Runbook, Storage Account, SQL Server, Function Apps. Working knowledge of Azure Elastic Search or AI Search is an added advantage. Design, implement, and manage applications on Azure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Hands on experience with Oracle SQL and Oracle process automation will be an added advantage. Experience with Docker containers will also be an added advantage.

- Troubleshooting : Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues promptly. Provide support for production incidents and contribute to root cause analysis.

- Observability Monitoring & BCDR : one should have a good understanding of APM tools. one should have experience in handling resiliency of resources in both Azure and oracle cloud.

3. Programming :

- Must have experience working with SQL using MSSQL or Oracle servers.

- Utilize advanced skills in C# .NET Core & Framework for backend development (Added advantage).

- Develop and maintain front-end applications using TypeScript, ensuring a high-quality user experience (Added advantage).

4. Collaboration and Leadership :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and guidance.

- Mentor team members and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices.

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 4 to 6 years of experience in Cloud Services, Automation, CI/CD pipeline management, backend and frontend development.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.

- Understanding Cloud networking and security principles.
