Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing, with hands-on experience in automation testing using Java, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex software solutions within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough manual testing of software applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Develop and execute automation test scripts using Java, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.
• Ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements, such as performance, security, and usability.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and address defects.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Participate in API testing to ensure robustness, security, and performance of APIs.
• Manage defect lifecycle, ensuring thorough documentation, resolution, and retesting of defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Continuously improve testing processes and practices to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 6-9 years of hands-on experience in manual testing and automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber for automation.
• In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with API testing (REST, SOAP, etc.) using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent.
• Expertise in defect management, ensuring proper tracking, documentation, and resolution.
• Strong understanding of test case development, test planning, and defect management.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
