Role & responsibilities

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced MS SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database development, optimization, and project management, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions while maintaining data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, functions, and views
• Lead small to medium-sized database projects and coordinate with team members
• Implement and maintain data quality standards and integrity controls
• Optimize database performance through query tuning and index optimization
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely solutions

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server (2016 or later versions)
• Extensive experience in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and index management
• Knowledge of database security and backup/recovery procedures
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
• Understanding of data modeling and normalization concepts

Project Management Skills:

• Experience in managing small-scale database projects
• Ability to create project timelines and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Proven track record of successful database project implementation
• Experience in data migration and ETL processes
