Desired Experience & Exposure:
As a QA Mid-level, having experience of 2-4 years, you will be responsible for testing the products developed by the company. In this role, you will be required to work closely with the development team in order to ensure that the products meet the quality standards set by the company. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining test plans and schedules.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance and Testing
Test Planning: Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on project requirements.
Test Execution: Coordinate and oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough coverage.
Defect Management: Manage the defect tracking process, prioritize defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Automation: Implement and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to identify and address system bottlenecks.
Regression Testing: Plan and execute regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
Load Testing: Plan and execute load testing to ensure performance of software
API Testing: Plan and execute API testing using Postman or other tools.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate UAT efforts with stakeholders and ensure feedback is incorporated.
2. Process Improvement
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies.
Tools and Technologies: Evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies to enhance efficiency.
3. Quality Assurance Strategy
Quality Standards: Define and enforce quality standards and best practices across projects.
Risk Management: Identify project risks related to quality and develop mitigation strategies.
Compliance: Ensure that testing activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
4. Customer Focus
User Experience Testing: Ensure that testing efforts focus on delivering a high-quality user experience.
Customer Feedback: Incorporate customer feedback into testing processes to address usability and functionality concerns.
5. Problem Solving and Decision Making
Issue Resolution: Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
Decision Making: Make informed decisions regarding testing priorities, resource allocation, and risk management.
6. Performance Monitoring
Process Performance: Evaluate the effectiveness of testing processes and make adjustments as needed. Desired Skills:
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Experience with Selenium Automation
Mandatory Skills:
2+ years of experience in software testing
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
