Roles and responsibilities:

Financial reporting and analysis:

a) Work on monthly, quarterly and yearly closure of books of accounts, MIS and reporting to investors and other stakeholders as needed.

b) In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards.

c) Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on financial performance.

Accounting operations:

a) Oversee the accounting department and ensure the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

b) Manage key controlling areas like account payable, account receivable, payroll, taxation and general ledger activities.

External stakeholder management:

a) Work with Statutory and Internal auditors effectively and implement the changes, and communicate the outcomes to relevant stakeholders.

b) Handling RBI inspections and queries as well as regulatory reporting.

Skills and Qualifications:

a) Education - Qualified CA/ICWA/CMA/MBA finance.

b) Experience - Minimum 2-3 years of work ex.

c) Experience of working in startup is a plus but not the must!
