Accounts Payable Assistant

We are currently seeking a skilled AP Assistant in a multi-company environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and obtain the proper approval from management prior to payment
• Post invoices accurately and timely
• Submit daily positive pay reports
• Maintain an organized and accurate filing system
• Prepare monthly expense backup packages in a timely manner
• Obtain updated W-9s from vendors yearly
• Maintain accurate vendor information in Intacct
• Assist with other projects as needed and assigned

Requirements:

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience
• Excellent English communication
• College degree required, college courses in accounting preferred
• Work efficiently, effectively and accurately
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of staff
• Strong attention to details and accuracy
• Must be well organized, a self-starter, able to adjust to change, and work independently
• Hands-on experience in operating MS Excel, Office & Outlook and SAGE Intacct
• 100% Remote Position
• Working hours are either 8am to 4pm Eastern or 9am to 5pm Eastern
