Are you passionate about storytelling through videoDo you have a keen eye for detail and a flair for creativityAs a Video Editor Intern, youll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from promotional videos to training content. Youll collaborate with our marketing and content teams to create engaging video content that captures our brandvoice and message.

- Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos that align with our brand guidelines and objectives.
- Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging video content for various platforms including social media, websites, and training modules.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our content creators, designers, and marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
- Feedback Incorporation: Implement feedback and make revisions to ensure final videos meet our standards.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and techniques to bring innovative ideas to our projects.
What Were Looking For:
- Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Creativity: Strong creative vision and attention to detail in video editing and storytelling.
- Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your previous video editing work (academic projects, personal projects, etc.).
Requirements Key Responsibilities:
- Edit videos for promotional, educational, social media, and other digital content
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the final product
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenesvalue and contribution to continuity
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of videos
- Collaborate with directors and production team to ensure creative alignment
- Apply color grading, audio editing, and sound mixing to videos as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and video editing techniques
- Manage and organize video libraries and assets
- Optimize video content for social media platforms, including aspect ratios and formats for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Assist with video shoots as necessary (camera operation, lighting, etc.)
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of video editing work
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
- Experience with After Effects, Motion Graphics, and visual effects is a plus
- Knowledge of audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition) is a plus
- Familiarity with color grading, sound design, and video formats
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with creative teams
- Knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and basic cinematography is preferred
- Bachelordegree in Film Studies, Media, or a related field (preferred but not required)
