Job Description :

Project Tree Company is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage and optimize our database systems.

The DBA will ensure the performance, security, and reliability of our databases, providing support for data-related issues and contributing to the design and implementation of database solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and maintain database systems to ensure their availability, performance, and security.

- Perform regular database backups, recovery, and updates.

- Monitor database performance and tune queries and indexes to optimize system performance.

- Manage database security, including user access and permissions.

- Implement and oversee data integrity and consistency across various databases.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database structures that support business applications.

- Document database configurations, processes, and changes for future reference.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).

- Strong knowledge of SQL and database query optimization.

- Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills :

- Certification in database management systems (e.g, Microsoft SQL Server Certification, Oracle DBA).

- Experience with cloud-based databases and services (e.g, AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).

- Familiarity with scripting languages for automation (e.g, PowerShell, Python).
