Manager - IT Operations (3-4 yrs)

- Conduct thorough assessments of client IT environments: Analyze existing infrastructure, processes, and tools to identify potential bottlenecks, risks, and areas for improvement.

- Develop and implement IT operations strategies: Define and document best practices, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational procedures to ensure smooth and efficient IT service delivery.

- Oversee day-to-day IT operations: Monitor system performance, identify and troubleshoot issues proactively, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.

- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure: Ensure the availability, performance, and security of critical IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.

- Implement and manage IT operations tools and systems: Leverage a range of tools and technologies to automate tasks, improve monitoring, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies: Continuously update your knowledge of emerging technologies, best practices, and industry standards in IT operations management.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members: Share your expertise and knowledge to help develop the skills of other IT professionals.

Required Qualifications:

- Proven experience in IT Operations Management: Experience in managing and optimizing IT operations within a complex environment.

- Proficiency in IT operations management tools and systems: Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e. , Nagios, Prometheus), configuration management tools (e. , Ansible, Puppet), and ticketing systems (e. , Jira, ServiceNow).

- Strong technical expertise: In-depth knowledge of networking concepts (e.
, TCP/IP, routing, switching), server administration (e. , Windows, Linux), and virtualization technologies.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues quickly and effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Collaborative attitude and teamwork skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Relevant IT certifications: ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Administrator, or other relevant certifications.

- Experience with cloud computing platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
