Manager- Project (CGD)

Role & responsibilities :

1. Planning & execution of Steel / MDPE pipeline laying including last mile connectivity, testing & commissioning works as per companies SOP and statutory requirements.

2. Lead and oversee the end-to-end project management process for City Gas Distribution projects

3. Develop and implement project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation

4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to industry standards

5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project delivery and resolve any issues or conflicts

6. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies

7. Provide strategic direction and guide subordinates to achieve operational excellence and quality outcomes

8. Manage project budgets, forecast costs, and optimize resource utilization

9. Prepare and present project status reports & updates to management as per companys requirement.

10. Coordinate with all the execution contractors, TPIs, DMAs & other stakeholders and create push to maximize progress

11. Verification / certification of invoices submitted by contractors for executed works.

12. Liaison & co-ordinate with land owning authorities for permissions related to Steel & MDPE pipeline laying.

Assess material requirement as per construction plan and initiate purchase requisition for material procurement.

Preferred candidate profile :

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Master's degree or MBA in Project Management or a relevant discipline preferred (Desirable)

Experience:

1. 12 - 15 years of progressive experience in the City Gas Distribution industry

2. Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex projects within budget and timeline

3. Proven experience in managing cross-functional project teams and stakeholders
