Roles and Responsibilities

• Hands on experience in IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming is a must.
• Experienced in Integrated Language Environment (ILE)
• Experienced in Creating and debugging RPG/CL programs
• Ability to create Sub-procedures, Subroutines and Service Programs.
• Knowledge of SEU, PDM, DFU and Spool files
• Experienced in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS)
• Knowledge of Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript will be added advantage.
• Ability to handle Client requirement, creating design document and walk them with client

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an AS400/RPG Developer, preferably in development projects.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with RPG programming language and AS400 platform.
• Proficient in using development tools and utilities such as SEU, PDM, and RDi.
• Experience with database management systems, preferably DB2 on AS400.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.
