Job Description
About the Role
Act as Asset manager for reusable components and own the Tool TechShelf that manages the reusable asset portfolio in Harman. Coordinate asset- and tool requirements with main Stakeholders and make the portfolio grow in terms of process integration, Quality improvement and effectiveness. Align a roadmap with Business on new assets and the overall rollout. Drive and improve the needed BMS process adoptions.
Coordinate the development of the tool and its content maintenance by some related engineers.
Be a technical Subject Matter Expert for reusable component assets and according to company usage. Collaborate strongly with Engineering Teams.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain the Strategy roadmap and requirements from Business stakeholders.
- Create and coordinate technical expert groups that review and authorize assets.
- Identify opportunities for new components and standardize their integration into TechShelf as well as related processes.
- Support Quality improvement and potential integration into internal pipelines.
- Work closely with all stakeholders to improve and adopt the tool.
- Gain enough business knowledge to create effectiveness.
- Drive the Change Control Board procedures.
What You Need
- 10y+ overall work experience in SW industry
- 5y+ Management experience
- Product management experience or IT Asset mgt preferred.
- Curiosity in technologies, products, and their decomposition into assets
- Willingness to travel (2-3 times a year for some days)
- Experience using standard Project Management, SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
