Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor oversees the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves managing production staff, monitoring production performance, and ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly and meet company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision and Leadership: Manage, train, and provide leadership to production staff. Schedule and assign work to production employees. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Promote a positive team environment and address any conflicts or issues that arise.
2. Production Management: Plan, organize, and oversee the production process. Ensure production targets and deadlines are met. Monitor production activities and make adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and quality. Maintain accurate production records and reports.
3. Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control standards. Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify and address any issues affecting product quality.
4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits. Address any safety concerns promptly.
5. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes. Work with other departments to optimize production processes. Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
6. Inventory and Resource Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products. Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely delivery of materials. Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and production management software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
