Production Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Support:

• Assist in monitoring daily production schedules and ensure that production activities align with planned timelines.
• Help track raw material usage and inventory to ensure production runs smoothly.
• Record production data, including batch numbers, quantities, and production times.

2. Documentation & Record Keeping:

• Maintain and update production-related documents, such as work orders, production reports, and inventory logs.
• Ensure all documents are filed and stored in accordance with company policies.

3. Communication & Coordination:

• Act as a liaison between the production floor and other departments (e.g., procurement, quality control, and logistics).
• Coordinate with the production manager to schedule and prioritize tasks for the production team.

4. Inventory & Supply Chain Assistance:

• Assist in tracking the usage and replenishment of raw materials, packaging, and other production supplies.
• Help with inventory audits and ensure stock levels are maintained to avoid production delays.

5. Quality Control Assistance:

• Support the quality control team by ensuring that production records are accurate and compliant with food safety standards.
• Assist in ensuring the proper handling and storage of ingredients, packaging materials, and finished goods.

6. General Office Support:

• Help in the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as required by the production team.
• Provide clerical support to the production department, including answering calls, emails, and other administrative tasks.
