1. Job Role: Purchase Executive
2. Superior Position: Purchase - Head
3. Subordinate Position:
4. Department: Purchase
5. Purpose of the Role: Ensure purchase of manufacturing products and supplies in support of the production activities in time.

6. Responsibilities:
a. Function Specific

• Focus on daily purchase requirements of each and every department.
• Daily Follow-up to Supplier / Vendor for Quotation, Delivery status, Pending Schedule.
• To negotiate favorable terms, conditions and pricing, and to arrange for delivery when and where needed in consultation with the PUA leader.
• To monitor supplier compliance with purchase order contracts and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinating the purchase of materials and services for all functions of the each and every dept.
• Maintaining the Vendor Master, Material Master and commodity list.
• Purchase & Procurement Of Material.
• Strong Negotiation & Communication with supplier.
• Making Comparison for Consumables, Capital requirements.
  

b. Environment Health and Safety

• Report incidents on time in a given format
• Ensure Air, water or land is not polluted due any of his/her activities
• Follow safety norms inside the premises
• Ensuring safety of his/her guest/visitors inside the premises
  

c. Operational Excellence (OpEx)

• Look for waste in the process or activity performed with the intent of elimination
• Ensure that the work place is maintained in a neat and clean manner

7. Authorities:

• Finalize the rates of supplies with set process in consultation with PUA leader.
• Decide delivery schedule of the supply.

8. Requirements of profile:
a. Education / Qualification: B Com / M Com
b. Number of years of past Work Experience: At least 2-3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
c. Desired past experience:

• Industrial material and their applications.
• Hands on experience on SAP MMA module at least for one year.
• Good communication & negotiations skills.
