Sr. Product Specialist (Developer)

This role provides overall support to the Product Management Team and partners with all lines of business in creating robust reporting application and data products. This is a great opportunity to be part of the delivery team to ensure that right functionality is built and delivered in a timely manner by transforming high-level visions and requirements of new features and enhancements of products into detailed user stories.

About You:

• Bachelor s Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• 5 years hands on experience in custom report writing with a strong knowledge of Python, API s, VBA, JSON, SQL or other scripting languages
• Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
• Record of delivering business/technology re-engineering initiatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills relaying business concepts to technology teams
• Effective influencing and negotiation sills
• Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scum Product Owner a plus
• Familiarity with AWS is a plus
• Strong visual communication skills (PowerPoint, Visio)

Your Role:

• Contribute to product initiatives, new technology migrations and general system enhancements
• Correspond with various business groups to identify tactical needs
• Develop peripheral automation for our processes (e.g. Python, JSON, API s, VBA macros, SQL scripts, etc.)
• Coordinate with our other technology groups for implementation and deployment
• QA testing and roll-out of technology
• Ensure quality of work being delivered by being involved in testing efforts
• Ensure there is sufficient documentation for processes and tools
• Assist with various projects as assigned
• Create and refine backlog of user stories that align with business objectives
• Work with Product Management team and stakeholders to prioritize product enhancements
• Work closely with scrum master to plan releases that are goal focused
• Guide technology, project management and operations team in solution delivery
• Collaborate with the other product teams on prioritization and reuse of functionality
• Contribute to product vision and align roadmap to strategic goal
