Job Description
- Product Ownership: Take full ownership of the VMware Cloud on AWS Console, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Leadership in Development: Lead the product development process, working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
- User Experience Focus: Prioritize user experience in the design and functionality of the console and control plane, ensuring they are intuitive and efficient for users.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with design, engineering, sales, and support teams to ensure the console and control plane meet user needs and business goals.
- Market Insights: Conduct thorough market research and user feedback analysis to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Roadmap Management: Develop and manage a comprehensive product roadmap, balancing short-term enhancements with long-term strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on product progress and gathering input to guide development.
- Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is advantageous.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on cloud services and user experience.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and experience with distributed control plane architectures.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable product strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving product success.
- Experience with VMware products, particularly in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and tools.
- Knowledge of industry trends in cloud computing and user interface design.
