Officer - Product Management

Role & responsibilities

The Officer Product Management at MRF Paints will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of product strategies to drive business growth. This role involves market research, product lifecycle management, and coordination with various teams to ensure successful product performance in the market.

1. Product Strategy & Development:

• Assist in developing and implementing product strategies aligned with business goals.
• Support new product development (NPD) initiatives, from ideation to launch.
• Monitor product performance and suggest improvements based on market feedback.

1. Market Research & Analysis:

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Analyse sales data and customer feedback to enhance product offerings.
• Assist in pricing strategies based on market dynamics and cost analysis.

1. Cross-functional Coordination:

• Work closely with R&D, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure product success.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team for production planning and quality control.
• Provide training and support to the sales team regarding product features and benefits.

1. Brand & Marketing Support:

• Assist in product positioning, branding, and promotional activities.
• Support the development of marketing collaterals, brochures, and digital content.
• Participate in product launches, exhibitions, and trade events.

1. Operations & Reporting:

• Track and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability.
• Prepare periodic reports on product performance and market trends.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel and data interpretation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
