Role: Product Lead/Product Manager Astro.
Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our astrology product across all the Hindustan properties.
- This role will be responsible for shaping and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for astrology features, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated with the overall user experience.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of astrology, consumer engagement, and digital product management.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy:
- Define and articulate the vision for our astrology product that aligns with company goals and audience needs.
- Develop a comprehensive roadmap for astrology content, features, and tools that enhance user engagement.
- Drive the development of interactive elements such as birth charts, moon phase tracking, and sign calculators, prioritizing based on user value and business impact.
- Conduct regular market research to keep astrology offerings relevant and competitive.
- Oversee the creation of astrology content, including daily horoscopes, compatibility tools, personalized reports, and other interactive features.
User Research & Insights:
- Conduct surveys, interviews, and data analysis to understand user needs, pain points, and engagement patterns related to astrology content.
- Collaborate with the audience insights team to create user personas and define use cases, ensuring the product caters to both casual readers and dedicated astrology followers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to bring new features to life, optimizing for usability, performance, and visual appeal.
- Partner with marketing and social media teams to promote astrology content and engage the target audience effectively.
- Work closely with analytics teams to set up relevant tracking metrics and conduct performance analyses.
Data-Driven Product Optimization:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the astrology product, including engagement, retention, and conversion metrics.
- Leverage A/B testing and user feedback to continuously improve and refine features, content, and user flow.
- Identify and prioritize enhancements based on data insights, ensuring a high-quality, engaging experience for users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a background in digital product management, user experience, or a similar field is preferred.
- 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in astrology products.
- Strong knowledge of astrology and an understanding of user expectations within this niche.
- Proven track record of managing a digital product roadmap, from concept to launch and ongoing optimization.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and editorial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or Mixpanel.
- Experience with A/B testing and other forms of product experimentation.
