Position: Manager Fish, Meat & Frozen Products Procurement

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management: Oversee the sourcing of high-quality fish, meat, and frozen products, ensuring timely and efficient procurement that meets Barbeque Nation's standards.
• Vendor Management: Identify, negotiate, and establish strong relationships with suppliers/vendors for fish, meat, and frozen product procurement. Monitor vendor performance to ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery.
• Negotiation & Cost Management: Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality.
• Onboarding Vendors: Facilitate the onboarding process of new vendors, ensuring they align with Barbeque Nation’s quality and supply chain requirements.
• Data Collection & Reporting: Collect and analyze procurement data to provide insights on trends, performance, and cost management. Generate reports for management and operational teams.
• Delivery & Logistics Coordination: Ensure timely delivery of fish, meat, and frozen products across all locations. Coordinate with logistics teams to maintain stock levels and avoid any supply chain disruptions.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured fish, meat, and frozen products meet the required safety, quality, and hygiene standards, and align with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with other departments such as operations, quality control, and inventory to streamline procurement processes and ensure seamless operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, ideally in the fish, meat, or frozen product industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
• Proven ability to manage procurement processes, cost control, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of industry trends, quality standards, and regulations related to fish, meat, and frozen products.
• Proficiency in data analysis and report generation.
