Cloud Security Engineer - SIEM Tools (8-9 yrs)

Job Description :

- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or cloud security engineering.

- Assist in the design and build of cloud security architectures, ensuring security is a core part of the design and development of the clients' cloud solutions.

- Review our clients' existing cloud security measures and processes, advising on best practices and recommendations based on leading industry insights.

- Ensure the appropriate tooling, automation and operational processes and models are in place to support our clients' journey to cloud.

- Map security controls to compliance requirements for cloud environments.

- Excellent communicator, comfortable with discussing complex technical concepts with engineers or leaders.

- Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their native security and identity management (IAM) capabilities

- Experience with developing and implementing automation and security capabilities on cloud platforms

- Experience with administering Cloud security tools like CSPM, CWPP, SSPM, CNAPP, etc.

- Highly proficient in programming languages like Python and Java, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Ansible

- Experience with container orchestration systems like Kubernetes + OpenShift

- Ability to translate technical and compliance requirements into engineering roadmap and execution

- Experience with general SIEM, SOAR, IPS/IDS, VM, EDR, etc. security tools

- Knowledge of security industry standards and best practices such as OWASP, ISO 27001/2, NIST

- Cybersecurity certificates such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM and/or technical certificates such as AWS Certified Specialty Security, or Azure Security Engineer
