Procal Technologies - ServiceNow Developer - ITIL (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow Scoped Applications using App Engine Studio and Flow Designer.

- Implement and customize ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.

- Develop and maintain custom applications and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.

- Create and maintain technical documentation related to ServiceNow development and configurations.

- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather and analyze requirements.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions that meet those requirements.

- Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

- Perform system administration tasks, including user management, access control, and platform configuration.

- Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow platform issues, ensuring system stability and performance.

- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

- Implement and maintain ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.

- Support and mentor Citizen/Delegated developers in their use of the ServiceNow platform.

- Provide guidance on best practices and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Utilize Azure DevOps for source control, issue tracking, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

- Develop and maintain business rules, client scripts, and server-side scripts (JavaScript).

- Automate workflows and processes using Flow Designer and scripting.

Key Requirements :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

- Expertise in App Engine Studio and Flow Designer.

- Familiarity with Agile SDLC and Azure DevOps.

- Strong knowledge of business rules, client scripts, and server-side scripting (JavaScript).

- ServiceNow System Administrator Certification is required.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- ServiceNow certifications (Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist).

- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST APIs and other integration methods.

- Experience with Java programming.

- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks
