Probo was founded in 2021 by Sachin Gupta and Ashish Garg, both NIT-K/IIM-C grads who worked together at Uber & Urban Company prior to their venture..
At its heart, Probo is an opinion trading platform building prediction markets for India.
On Probo, users can find questions on many topics of their interest, like sports, news, finance and many more.
Users can swipe yes or no to express their opinion and place trade(s), and by doing so they enter into an event contract with another user on the other side of the trade.
Probo is a matching engine that enables the execution of this event contract.
Each trade is INR 10, and at the end of the event contract, the user with the correct opinion wins the quantum at stake..
About The Role.
As a Senior Product Designer, youll lead projects to tackle user problems and help achieve business goals through crafting delightful, accessible, and easy-to-use designs.
Youll be a core member for defining and implementing Probos design language for millions of users..
We're seeking a Senior Product Designer with a passion for crafting high-quality visual designs and an exceptional user experience.
In this role, you'll work closely with our product and engineering teams to design and iterate on Probo's platform features, ensuring our users have a seamless and engaging experience..
Who will you work with?.
You will primarily work alongside product, engineering and customer support teams on projects requiring a strong focus on visual solutions..
What skills & qualifications are we looking for?.
Design Leadership:Lead the visual and interactive design efforts for our product, ensuring high standards of usability and aesthetics..
User-Centric Design:Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and feedback, using this data to inform design decisions..
Collaboration:Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop design strategies that align with Probo's business goals and user needs..
Prototyping and Validation:Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Validate designs through user testing and iterative feedback..
Design Systems:Develop and maintain a cohesive design system to ensure product consistency across multiple platforms and touchpoints..
Mentorship:Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous learning..
